step 1: WHAT YOU WILL NEED
First off you will need, A TT9 Torx Driver A Small Push Button Rapid Fire Switch Some Thin Wire, Such as IDE Cable A Wireless Xbox 360 Controller. Soldering Equipment A Drill and a drill bit to match the diameter of the thread on your switch. Don’t forget a surface to work on. I would suggest near the computer just in case you forget where the wires need to be soldered to.

step 6: REASSEMBLE CONTROLLER Well I don’t know about you but having done a homebrew rapid fire mod switch was definately nerve racking and hard. The soldering of the wires to the board seemed almost impossible and nearly melted the board several times. Unless you purchase a heat controlled soldering gun you might want to consider another alternative to modding your wireless controller.
The most annoying fact is You Have To remove one of the rumble motors in order to install a switch for the rapid fire. With several different switches I have found and have tried there is no getting around removing one of the rumble motors. Having one of the rumble motors was acceptable untill game time came and the controller would only vibrate on one side making it feel awkward but tollerable.
